This is a gem of a prize ... so powerful and so wise... I feel that Mr.Bob Dylan well qualifies to be a Prophet in our modern day times "You must leave now, take what you need, you think will last. But whatever you wish to keep, you better grab it fast. Yonder stands your orphan with his gun, Crying like a fire in the sun. Look out the saints are comin' through And it's all over now, Baby Blue. The highway is for gamblers, better use your sense. Take what you have gathered from coincidence. The empty-handed painter from your streets Is drawing crazy patterns on your sheets. This sky, too, is folding under you And it's all over now, Baby Blue. All your seasick sailors, they are rowing home. All your reindeer armies, are all going home. The lover who just walked out your door Has taken all his blankets from the floor. The carpet, too, is moving under you And it's all over now, Baby Blue. Leave your stepping stones behind, something calls for you. Forget the dead you've left, they will not follow you. The vagabond who's rapping at your door Is standing in the clothes that you once wore. Strike another match, go start anew And it's all over now, Baby Blue. "

I'm a Dylan fanatic... I just saw him , Elvis Costello and Amos Lee twice last week in Worcester, MA and then again in Manchester,NH The Poet Laureate~~

hello kerouacfan, coolness thank you so much for checking in ... from one dylan fan to another ..cheers I've only seen him once back in probably 1999 at an outdoor arena of course ... here in northern california... with phil lesh & co.

hey long haired beauty....I have heard some Dylan songs before but the one I identify with mostly is his Knockin' on Heaven's Door. Keep in touch more.

Oh certainly I shall ... I was thinking that since Dylan wrote so much music we could have a post of favorite dylan songs or I could start at the letter A and go down the alphabet posting all of dylans tunes... course I travel a lot so I would not be able to do it everyday.
