i'd love to stay home with my kids, be the one that raises 'em, instills
values and morals in them.

i'd give anything to do that myself.

as it is, finances almost require BOTH parents to work outside the
home...

this is no longer an issue of "would ya want to stay home with the kids"
it's an issue of "can we afford you to stay home with the kids"

and most of the time, that answer is a strong "NO"

but there are others who already have a steady income and would be able
to be th "home body" as am I,,,th only time I leave th house is if I
need to go to a store or out to eat...or golf,
fishing ,ect. It get's very boring sitting here with nothing to do but
movies or games,so I mess around with you people for giggles,and helps
me learn about y'all,as well as me...

I love being a housewife-Im a house frau now cuz I got no hubby. And
married or single you still have to cook, clean, do laundry but on top
of it you have to work to provide all those things financially, too.
I dont think you have to lose your identitiy if you are a housewife. It
doesnt have to overwhelm you. I think alot of it depends on your spouse
and how willing they are to take over and
give you the night off. Its like any other job just way more important.

Being a stay at home mom was awesome and I have three great kids
I got to be with as they grew up and learned ABCS and I played play doh
with them and watched Barney and all that other kids stuff. It was a
valuable time and I wouldnt trade it for anything.

there needs to be a functional husband who understands
the role and responsibility of the functional husband.

i'm an awesome housewife...it's my preferred profession...unfortunately i cannot support my family so i have to work full-time at a job i loathe and squeeze in homemaking as a hobby

yeah housewife here lost her husband because he slept with his best friends slut and i was cooking cleaning giving sex frequently but he couldnt handle the bills so he found another family he could leech off of
