Topic: From London, Why are girls so reserved here? | |
---|---|
Hello Guys and Girls,
I'm on holiday here and one thing I notice is that when girls make eye contact they quickly look away and walk as if they've done some sort of crime lol I don't know how common it is across India or its just in my city. Also, how does one approach them here? Any answers welcome! Cheerio! |

You must be drooling at them. Where are your eyes... BEFORE , you make eye contact? If they are acting offended, they probably are. |

Hahah I don't consider a millisecond of eye contact as drooling in particular. I definately don't encounter this in London or even in Europe.

According to your profile, you are 20 years old & in India, but your thread says " girls are reserved in London ", I find the comparison of girls in India being more " unreserved ", very unlikely. You said, in London that girls walk away like you committed a crime, so I assumed you are drooling at them or expect them to talk to you, simply because you made eye contact. Girls your age, would get looked at all damn day. And in London, they would see men from all over the world, all the time. I can only suggest, you join something to meet girls your age, & spend time getting to know them. Good luck. |

Just yesterday, I made eye contact with a guy; he actually waved at me and I looked away. I should have waved back. I was passenger in my mom's truck and he was on the sidewalk in front of a store. I don't understand why I do it. It's a silly thing to do. I was raised Southern Baptist...fire and brimstone...maybe that is a factor. |

Tulip, I grew up with the fire and brimstone preaching as well and nothing you ever did was right. Surprised I turned out as I did, without having more issues.
I'll make eye contact and say Hi all the time and like you said, most women will shy away. But I don't judge or guess why they did so. Life's too short. And Tulip, maybe you'll cross paths with that guy again, and not make the same mistake twice. |

My parents were very strict and controlling. Not putting them down, great parents, just the way it was (there were six of us to raise). Paths do cross again. |
