Agreed, I find no matter how happy I am or how good I have it, if I meet someone that is sad or having a bad day or just going thru something in there life that keeps them from being happy it brings me down. Makes me want to do what ever I can to help them. Sometimes just a smile or a hug is all it takes just to et someone know you care.

I watched the Special Olympics once, a long time ago.
It has stayed in my memory most of my life now. As the participants ran around the track and were coming up on the finish line, the kid in the lead slowed down until everyone caught up, then they all finished together. Try and watch THAT without bawling. The simplicity and the profundity. |
