Darl'in you can beat me at any game you want, wouldn't bother me in the least. I will even brag about it to all my friends.

As a child I loved having all sorts of tools and weapons for fun, and leisure, sport, and the feeling of power.

I liked that I could remain distant from the target, that I was safe and secure way on down the line, not putting myself into any kind of jeopardy, all while controlling what I did to whatever I aimed at.
There was me, the center of the universe, and my target, which meant nothing, it was just an object to poke holes in.

Precision and accuracy where these things were concerned came readily, proficiency was established, my abilities defined me and all I found important, which lead to an atrophy in other meaningful areas.

Then I grew up, realized and learned something better.

So, I'm just not a good archer anymore.
I know how to make a bow.
I know how to spot a bow.
I know the mindset and process of an archer.
But I just don't value being one.


I figure out why I'm shooting at it and if the target wants to be shot at in the first place.

all targets want to be shot at why be a target if no one going to shoot at you

hahaha well as a kid I was a mighty kickball player and played tackle football and all foul basketball with my brothers..


now golf? I suck at..get too mad when I hit a worm killer

I have never just shot an arrow into the sky unless it was a metaphorical arrow.lol.

I have some issues using a compound bow but I am a mean shot with a cross bow..

Much prefer pistols and rifles...
