Topic: What is the most unusual pet you've had? | |
---|---|
I had a raccoon. Its moma died so I bottle fed. My cat had just had kittens and after a while started taking care of it like it was hers. The raccoon became a great friend and my goodness do they learn. They can function just like a toddler. Had it for 9years before it passed away. They have an expectancy of 5 in the wild and 20 in captivity. Im guessing the 5 is due to cars. Lol. And the trash they eat.

That's cool. Kudos to you. I always wondered what a raccoon was like with the wild.

Id be interested to find out. Its always amazing to see the behavior of a wild animal compared to the domesticated version.

Lol for you still have him No, no, no. We helped him live and grow up, then set him free. We found a man who had a worm farm and he supplied us with nightcrawlers for him to eat. And my dog wanted him for a plaything/eatthing too. |

Mice. Not the kind you buy in a pet shop. :D Mice can be cleaver little critters. Haha. They were very, very clever. I made this elaborate cage where they had stairs, swings and tunnels -- all from scrap. My mom was furious when she found out. Didn't even appreciate the genius of my art. :D |

A krupalope. They are barely domesticated. What is that? Never heard of them They create strange noises but are quite colorful! Some migrate long distances then mark their territory with complex designs. |
