Topic: Dont spy on me! How to opt out of Windows 10 | |
---|---|
The only issue I found with Windows 10 is that my NHL '09 won't work on it. Worked like a charm in Windows 7.
Bummed me out at first. I've had Windows 10 for about 2 weeks and I've gotten over the fact that only one game won't work. Steam works fine and games like World Of Warplanes, War Thunder and World Of Tanks work. NHL '09 is the last hockey game made for the PC that EA released, now they're focusing that franchise on gaming consoles, which I don't plan to ever buy at this point. |

Data must include our personal picture and video files, not only text. This is disturbing. They have us all by the ballz. They issued a recent update that supposedly checks your system for pirated software and games. I think that was one of the first updates since the official roll out of Windows 10. |

Bait enough people to get them hooked on to something "free". Unfortunately I got suckered. I may just go back to Windows 7. I had no issues with that version. |

Well, this is frustrating.
Can someone using W10 tell me how the freak to save (say a web page) to Favorites? I "Imported" all my old faves. But cannot figure out how to add a new fave. |

in firefox, the same three lines opens up a menu that lets you add a quick link to the save page button, that you can place on your browsers title menu
here's a link if you wanna try it https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ |

i did find a favorites button, on the upper right... the three lines in the corner Ya same 3 lines, takes you to Favorites, just no way to add one... will have to copy the addy and lay it in on the DeskTop..no biggie...miss the quick 'add' though. |

I thought I would share this.
A few days after installing W10, it started getting whacky.. hardly definable. So yesterday, it simply would not turn on. Off to WalMart to buy a new one, got an Acer Chromebook 15, As we were leaving the house we get this call, from Microsoft, peeps I have never contacted. Someone who does not have English as a first language was trying to tell me we got hacked and the virus shut down the pc. They are sending a technician out this week to fix it for free. How bad must this be if they are willing to send out a techie to the middle of nowhere to fix it before I even read about it in the news? Anyone know where there is a DELETE button on a laptop?? |
