What is YOUR take on these phenomena?

Mine: Personally, I got into UFO's and Aliens 3 years ago while stumbling upon a program on netflix. This documentary was as dumb as the rest until..they got into talking about the abduction process theory. When I was 18 years old, I had a very vivid, nearly lucid dream that I could never forget. I was sleeping on my side, and in my dream I floated straight through the wall, and up towards the sky looking down at my trailer, then the trailer park, then my city, then the illuminated country and western hemisphere, and then beyond planet earth.

I do NOT believe I was abducted by aliens I'm not crazy, but it just fascinated me that according to alleged abductees, the first recollections of these abduction phenomena began with something very similar to this.

Also, until further study, I had always wondered what was going on when I would experience sleep paralysis. That is until I studied it and found out what it is and that it only happens at certain times, being that it's a natural function based on sleeping patterns.

However, all this being said; for some reason, I am fascinated with UFO books, documentaries, the Dulce base, etc.

So what does everybody else think about the topic?

I've always been intrigued by ufo's, aliens, astronomy, science & philosophy too.....but into the alien/ufo for over 10years....

I have been intrigued by Humans who put an apostrophe where one doesn't belong.

If there was aliens who were far technologically advanced and could travel light years to reach earth ..

I doubt they'd fly about the sky at night with their light bulbs on :)

Being an alien, there is no reason their eyes could not emit light. Maybe they are just looking back?

UFO and aliens have been popularised mainly by Hollywood & gimmick claims.....who brought about the idea? Did someone have a nightmare & dreamt up of aliens & ufos which over time blew into a huge belief that is actually false...just the same way the gimmick of vampires started with one man who wasn't even a vamp to begin with.....myths & gimmcks....no reality to it...

ummm... UFOs have been around long time before Hollywood... every ancient culture has depicted close to the same ones over and over...

Anything magical is tempting. I went through a slew of intriguing things when I was younger, before I decided to switch to just plain facts and logic.

One thing that change allowed me to avoid, is gullibility's equally evil twin, adamant certainty without proof, that NOTHING is 'magical.'

I now follow a policy of accepting as DATA, just about anything anyone reports. I neither assume lies or delusion, nor factuality or Truth. The cool thing about this is, that when something really intriguing does come out of an odd collection of "fact-lets," I'm ready to deal with it without having a huge fight to overcome my own prejudices.

Anyway, I suspect that there's a lot of really informative history, hidden behind wild cover stories. And WHY things are being covered up is as fascinating to me as WHAT is being covered up.

if you see something flying, and you don't know what it is, it's a UFO... doesn't necessarily mean from outer space...
