Did you introduce yourself in this public forum? Either in the New Members section or elsewhere?
I don't believe I did. I just kinda jumped into the craziness. |

I jumped in and I was ignored. I heard crickets to my comments for a very long time. It's a tough crowd here.

I snuck in through the back door lol

I can't remember if I did introduce myself.
But I remember feeling like 'Billy no mates' for weeks in the forums Then one day one of the popular people said hello on the threads and it seemed to change a little after that. |

Did you introduce yourself in this public forum? Either in the New Members section or elsewhere? I don't believe I did. I just kinda jumped into the craziness. It was different way back when... I remember joining right in the process of JustsayHi going out and Mingle coming in. I don't think I introduced myself, just jumped right in...It felt so wonderful to be in such a place that was so accepting. I have watched several changes over the years and yet I still stay here because I honestly like it. |

You're lucky Rains! You've been here a long time if you date back to the JustSayHi days. That makes you certified old-school
The cricket chirping does seem fairly commonplace. After awhile you kinda seem to get a following. I was just curious as to others' opinions. |

I do date back as an old timer I actually joined way back in 07 but deactivated pretty quickly I hated my username.. When I rejoined in 08 I chose this handle and it fits... I have no clue about a following, I don't think I have one, if I do no one has let me know... I did learn pretty quickly on another site internet forum posting can be brutal. I just came out and didn't care if people liked me or not. I posted what I honestly thought... Gee I guess I still post that way. |

First time ... hummm, actually I have a very good thought about that "first time". I proudly remember Miss Pink being one of the first people on here giving me a nice sentiment about this place , making me feel comfortable, and more than that Pink was the First Lady to welcome me. And she did it in a very nice respectful way.
Thank you, Pink. |

I was ignored when I joined and still ignored. I'm just doing my own thing and see if I can find the right man for me.

Never introduced myself and never made a thread.
Found the forums after a month or so, stayed in 'Rate My Profile' for a few months, just posting there. Finally got brave enough to enter the forums proper and participate. People who comment on Welcome threads are always appreciated. |

one place is the same as another as im comfortable wherever I perch and find it no different in Africa, China, Taiwan,
South America, England,Europe, and anywhere people congregate so introductions are superfluous....Dr Michael |

I spent a while reading posts and finding out how it worked before i just jumped in. I still read more than i comment. Sometimes i get return comments, and sometimes i don't. It's all good fun and often very interesting.I still think i suffer with my previously naive choice of username, but we live and learn don't we...

I didn't go on the forums until 4 months after I joined. I didn't even look at them. I didn't introduce myself I jumped in and about the third posting scribble welcomed me and gave me advice. If I needed to know something I would ask him.
Some times you just need a friend to help |

I gave someone a little sass when she first arrived, and she called me a meanie. What? I wrote her a poem. Anyway, no, I didn't introduce myself. I used to troll here a lot. I was messaged by a lovely lady and invited to the forums and here I am.

My first post was in the new members. I asked a genuine question and received many answers. It was my very first time on a forum. Minglers were very welcoming and accepting.
