It can't be one or the other, I have to have the combination of both. If you have jsut a picture, and no profile.. I deem you as someone who thinks your looks say it all, or just plain lazy. Pictures are just nice...so that there is a face to whomever I'm talking to.

It's nice to know what the person you're talking to looks like, but, the profile is definately more important. If you just want to be friends or chat or whatever who really cares what they look like. If it's for dating or ? then, then at least to me, who a person is is WAY more important than what they look like. Your looks fade with time anyway, so, what's the difference? If you're so superficial that you'd judge somebody on what they look like you'd probably too shallow for me to be interested in to start with. I'm not saying that looks mean absolutely nothing for somebody you might be interested in dating, but, if you look at pics before you kinda get to know somebody you're inclined to start judging right off the bat; whether you realize it or not.

The pic and profile are only important AFTER I've seen them posting a bit in the forums. If I don't see them posting on the forums, then the pic and profile are important BEFORE some emails\IMs are exchanged!
