To me, age is just a number. Also, if the distance is great, the love must be greater to overcome it. I recently attempted a long distance relationship with a young lady from Ontario Canada, and I'm in WA state in the US. We were successful with texting, and skyping, and even cyber. Unfortunately, other problems made our ability to meet up too much of a challenge, but i would have flown out to see her regardless of the distance. It really is all about the relationship that develops. If you find the right one, there should never be a distance or age difference too big to get in your way. Just thought i'd throw that out there. :)

A lot of women who are your age are actually grandmothers, Daddy.

Distance does matter. How can two people get to know each other on a personal level and be physical if miles and miles apart? Skyping isn't the same, just a waste of time, if never meet.

Where there's a will, there's a way. Love conquers all.

Age and distance...

It shouldn't, but it can

LDRs are okay in the beginning, or for getting to know a person. An effort should be made by both to actually meet, or all those promises that you made, of the moon, the stars, and everything in between is for naught.

All love stories are a matter of what each person envisions, versus what they actually have.

How the two of you view existence, is what decides if you are happy with each other or not. Not the details of existence itself.

Distance kills relationships when one or both envision real love as requiring regular face to face intimacy, for example.

Age is the same, but with different areas of concern. If one or the other person connects things like levels of respect for others to their age (a VERY common human failing), that's likely to kill any relationship which depends on equality between the mates.

It all depends on the two people involved. If a person's age matters to you it's better to look for someone within an age group you feel comfortable with. Distance can be temporary, if things work out you will want to be together at sometime in the future, so you must be prepared to relocate. You can learn a lot about each other before deciding to meet, but meeting could be expensive if you live far apart, and you would need to meet several times to really get to know each other. Not an easy option in my opinion.

She's 18 years of age. It's either one, under age pretending to be an adult or 18 years old and afraid and looking for a friend with benefits. But if it's love between the two of you. Than love and distance doesn't matter in a relationship. Both must be honest, open to any obstacles that you and she run into but be supportive... but just keep in mind that she could scam you for money. Love can get into a lot of trouble when money is involved... just be safe and think before leaping. If you and her really love one another, take the chance to see her and then, make the final decision.

Skype web can be taken anywhere in the world beside L.A. and online. To find out your both prawn for each other, go and see her in person instead. You'll know if she is in L.A. or not. Good Luck!
