Hmm. Well, I know this is a troll thread, but there is an interesting subject to be explored, if anyone cares to.
That is WHY anyone here might want to "be unfaithful" to someone else. I don't think it's just a matter of the person who wants to, being a selfish jerk or jerkette. Sometimes there's a story behind it which can be informative. I once wanted to betray someone, a long long time ago. I wanted to do that, and/or have an affair with someone else's mate. It was because I had been a victim of it myself, and wanted some sort of balance/revenge on the rest of the world. Fortunately for me, I'm lousy at seduction, and I get even angrier at the idea of being with a cheater, so I never managed to do what I thought I wanted to back then. I have long since recovered my moral equilibrium, and would never consider any such thing ever again. I understood soon enough back then, that what I really wanted wasn't to cheat or to betray, but to try to regain some sense that I was valuable as a person, because there is nothing that makes a person feel more worthless, than having the person who claimed to love them, betray and abuse their trust and faith like that. |
