I'm 5'10" and, historically, everybody I get involved with is either 5'0" or 5'8". Apparently there is no one in the world anymore who is 5'4" or 5'5". Well, the best girlfriend I ever had was 5'3" but she was an exception, since she worked at Hot Topic. I think the height restrictions are different for goths.

I did go out with a girl who was taller than me, and it really wasn't a problem. I tend to see height pretty much the same way I see age, i.e., just a number. If two people like each other, then that's the main thing.

Having said that, I will now beckpedal and add that I might have issues with a girl who was 8'6" or something. I'll let you know if I run into one!

My ex is 5'7...well, when he was lying down, I didn't think of his height when I first met him.

My Missouri man is 6'3...I am yet to climb to the top of his head and see what the air is like up there.

i am 5, 8 which is a bit short, i never really understood why people overall like taller people. does it have to do preconceptions of power or matching someone up with your height.

i could imagine if your were six feet tall that you would want someone at least 5'10 but what i don't understand is someon who is 5'5 wants someone who is six foot.

is there any explaination, any good reason or meaning behind it?
