i keep going through different forums and everybodys yelling at everybody over petty stuff. if we're adults on this site why cant all of us act that way?it makes it hard to stay happy when the screans full of all kinds of bickering and belittleing. i know people have their differences and arent always going to get along but cant it be delt with in a nicer manor.

I believe it happens because a lot of people simply don't stop to realize that there are other fully functional human beings, with hearts and minds and feelings and hopes and dreams and fears and likes and dislikes, on the other ends of these little computer doodads we got here.

It's a lot easier to sit here and type like there's really no one else out there and so no one can possibly ever be hurt, or negatively impacted in any way, by anything I write, you know?

A lot of people on the internet are basically that same way, only without the steering wheel.

the argument in the games forum is what prompted me to post. the third one i saw today. it was upseting too cuz i personally dont know the guy but he was extremely rude to people i consider to be my friends. i dont like my friends to b mistreated. but instead of argueing with him this seemed a better way to get a point across....if only alotta people read it

No, I think this is a civilised way of approaching the issue. It's going to happen anyway but it's a matter of how you respond that really matters.

i just wanted to say how i felt. im not putting my nose into their arguement.or others.just think people need more self control and to be more considerate. it's hard not to pay attention to it when it's happening in a forum you would like to participate or have participated in. kinda thought if maybe they could see how others feel about it they might think twice before it happens again

yeah i always try to ignore it and move on. there are always going to be bad or mean people but there will also be good people that do care. it's important to stick around the latter and try your best to be not like the first, to influence people through goodwill and postitive actions rather than bad ones.

it may also help them to think about things if they're in public. some of these arguements ive seen would probly have turned violent by now if they happened in public or something. people should think more before they open their mouth sometimes. i know it happens to everyone that the words come out before the brain kicks in but when an argument goes on for 5 or 6 pages here im sure they know what they're doing.

Heck, thought it was against the rules for fighting on the site, whoever is doing it needs to be careful or the admins. will ban him.

i was just going in to play and found 4 pages of it, sure theres more now
