Whats up Mingle 2, Its 2fly again, sorry i left you waiting for another cup of my hot tea....you know how it goes living in the city, living the hustle & bustle life and all....but never less i never be too busy for my minions. Folks I was sitting last night over my phone talking to a beautiful woman which I thought the talk was going good but then the topic came up about " Pornographic Movies". She asked me " Do I watch porn" & she gave her perception of it. I said it all depends if I'm in between dates or a relationships. when I'm a bachelor I would invite 3 or 4 of my closes boys & we may hit the strip club...but I guess this not what you mean. so i proceeded to say yes. Then she proceeded to say what about when you involved in a relationship? I said "no", but most girls I been with considered that cheating if I did. I'm aware that some couples watch together to spice up there sex life but i having met anyone that would share that experience with, at least not yet. then she told me that would be cheating because" I be lusting after another woman" I said you right but if I'm dating you & we having made us official yet then i'm not really yours yet. I'm not really violating any relationship rules ya' know. I wouldn't want to create a wedge in our dating or relationship. So my "Opinion Minions" what do you think about Porn movies...Is it a relationship enhancer?, is it relationship destroyer? or Is it just a adult hobby. So my friends talk to me, tell all....help your boy out on this was I wrong to say if I wasn't involved I would watch it & maybe in I would thinking about it again feel we can get into it to spice sex with us.....so check me out.....let me know whats your thinking on this.....Later!

its entertainment like any other, imho
its fantasy, just like watching a violent film doesnt make me feel like my partner wants to go out and be violent or like they are going to hit me I dont see a connection between fidelity in real life, and fantasy on a screen,,, |

That's how i see it....its all fantasy watching. i mean i wouldn't watch around kids or my mom but if i'm in a relationship or dating the only thing i could do is ask. " Baby, Can we watch a dirty movie to get us in the mood to maybe try out some of that kinky stuff, who knows, we me may pick up some new ideals....lol. we can be like " wow i didn't know her legs can do that......lol. |

just a question....
what would you consider as porn...? i mean...with all the sex incorporated in mainstream movies, TV shows, books and magazines...some tastefully(?) done, some strangely(?) done....what's that dividing line that defines porn as porn? |

Interestingly enough, pornography has been defined by SCOTUS as "not normal within the community at large." So what may be porn in Duluth might not be porn in New York.
Long story: It stemmed from a social organization in Salt Lake City trying to shut down a video rental owners "behind the curtain" section. He simply contacted the local cable provider and asked for numbers (not names) of customers who had purchased material generally accepted as pornography (PPV, Rated X or above). Turns out the per-capita porn purchase for Salt Lake City was something like 1 and 1/2 times the average for the US as a whole at the time. So, the videos he was renting out were perfectly normal for that community and thus not pornography. He won and was able to keep his "behind the curtain" section. You asked for my thoughts, here they are. Ask her, "Just what is pornography, really?" and lay that tidbit on her. Oh, and good luck with that. edited to add: Women will view porn as simple entertainment to keep you occupied in their absence until they're in a committed relationship, then they'll lay down some Biblical verse on you about the thought being as bad as the deed. Just thoughts from a Texas snowflake. |

So legally, it is population-based.

So legally, it is population-based. yep, SCOTUS has ruled. About 25 years ago. edited to add: while the definition of pornography has been determined, there are still FCC regulations regarding the airing of nudity and such which still must be adhered to. You have to specifically elect to view it. They can't just pipe it into your house unregulated. edited again to add: So, technically, you could pull the numbers and if porn purchases are the norm in your town rather than the exception you could petition your provider to just pipe it in to every house for free, because it's not porn here! It's normal! They will NEVER do that, due in part to FCC regulations (which they could likely defeat in court) but mainly because they'd rather you pay for "being bad" when, in fact, your neighbors are likely far worse than you ever thought about being. Your favorite Texas snowflake. |

Well in my case, it's not cheating
So I guess it's just being a freak? |

If one watches anything on TV, it stays in your brain and influences the way one dreams/thinks for many minutes afterwards. Therefore, porn can stay in your brain and influence the way one dreams. This goes for anything one watches on any screen. I play PC video games, so the same damn thing.
I have also read some articles suggesting all porn is homosexual in nature. I do not like porn nor do I watch it. I see it from time to time playing here and there, but it is not for me. I have gone to strip clubs, but usually to hang out with buddies whom want to go. Porn industry is not nice to our women including human trafficking. Side note: 50 Shades of Grey movie rating in France - PG12. It depends upon your society, like driftingLuke said. |

Didn't see this before when the topic was originally posted.
To me, Porn is just a visual aid for sexual release. Some need the visual stimulation. It's not cheating, as the act is not actually taking place between the actors and the viewer. |
