Other than (maybe) your parents, no one cares or thinks about you nearly as much as you fear or hope they do. Deserve and fair is for children. If someone mentions that something's not fair or they do/don't deserve something then they are looking for someone to take responsibility for them as though they were a child. Will Rogers' "too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don't want to impress people they don't like." Or (Author, rather than Hitch) Will Smith's “We spend money that we do not have, on things we do not need, to impress people who do not care.” Or Dave Ramsey's "We buy things we don't need with money we don't have to impress people we don't like." Government doesn't help. And really not that necessary in an age of instantaneous community or global communication. Most people are lazy opportunists pretending to be efficient and consistent altruists waiting for the right cause. What happens on the internet doesn't really matter, its greatest use to date seems to be wasting time while pretending to be fulfilling a meaningful purpose. If a woman is attracted to you enough she will accept anything you say or do as long as it doesn't interfere with her perception of your attractiveness or go against her self image. Equality and progress are myths. No one really wants equality, only to be judged "good" by as many people as possible. There is never progress, only change to try and hide how there is no real progress. Arson IS fun. Most feelings of security are false. What keeps an individual the most safe is just being one of the herd. Some of the most beautiful places on earth are those most protected from people. Silence is golden. Take advantage of off peak rates for electricity usage and suffer during on peak, the savings are incredible! Use coupons. Don't be afraid of conflict. Know the law. Don't eat yellow snow. .....meh, I could go on all day. |
