Hello. I want to stay apart of the Mingle community but I would like to change my user name. Do I have to deactivate my current account and reopen under another name? How can I best do this?

As was stated you will have to deactivate your account and create a new one for there is no way to change your name once you have choose it. You may be asked to create a new e-mail in the process.
