8 out 10 men that talk to me I look them up, guess what? They are scammers. I think they think women are stupid, I got news for them this lady is up on her scammer news .

I agree, this site is the pits .... nothing good has come of it. But I like the forum in the 50 and over section. Other places don't have this. I have shoes older than some of the guys that try to contact me.. so I have changed my settings a lot. I have no desire to look for a younger man. With age comes wisdom usually.

I have 'met' quite a number of people from here and most I know from the forums and yes, they are real people.....and yes, it is possible to meet a special some one or two.

And I have also met scammers and fakes in the real world, and they can be just as easy or difficult to spot..... experience counts.

It's true...... the volume of emails and contact from scammers on this site is 'infinite'..... they just come and come and come!
I have learnt to 'ignore' emails which I feel are from scammers.

I ignore most emails
if they only have one pic of themselves posted
if it's a military pic
I run it thru google images
if the city and state do not match
if their grammar/syntax is off and they claim to be American

I find it is not just the men who make judgement solely on the picture.

Being a man, although I can honestly say that I only speak for one man. Men buy cars, houses, take vacations, buy clothes and other things basically on appearances. As a man I can also say that negative attitudes is a real turn off. I think as a man, even though I can speak for only one man, you may want to drop the last small paragraph from your profile. I read your profile you have quite a few limitations. the one hope u like dog hair? that limits u to avid pet owners right there. taller men just cut out avid pet owners under 5' 8" you Are missing some of the ones that do read your profile.

It's really very simple. It's a numbers game. Think about if you had to go to a bar to meet your right guy. How often would you have to be there? Too often. You'd be the barfly. lol

It takes patience and the ability to weed out the fakes.
