Again I say it is ignorant to judge a book by its cover or a nation by its leaders.

I trust the govt of Israel about as much as I trust our own, and the House of Saud?! The Bush's and our bowing puppet Obozo can have them, or vice versa, but hopefully before Arabic becomes a second language in the USA!

All this "Israel First" BS is what got us where we are!

Did anyone hear the speech ole fear mongerer, Israel Firster, and presidential hopeful, Lindsey Graham gave at the GOP conference? slaphead

Vote for me and I'll make the Bush admin look like Mr Rogers Neighborhood! According to Graham we should all check under our beds for terrorists! McShame taught, or bought, him well!

Google it!

i'll trust the jews ANYTIME over the muslims...

Again Moe, it's not about the people other than those in power/leadership positions. Your statement could also be considered stereotypically bias

Most Muslims aren't either. Only those using their "faith" as an agenda for their perversions to violence.

It was, after all, 5 Israelis caught dancing and shouting on a rooftop as the trade center was burning, and the Mossad, while an ally agency, is not so trusted, a giver of MUCH false information, or the DC lobby corrupting and driving our congress to its agenda against other foreign ME nation states while they themselves oppress a race of people.

most, some, all, it makes no difference - the simple fact is it's muslims terrorizing the world, not Israel... 5 Israelis dancing? 19 muslims killed 3000 people... which is worse, dancing or killing?

and i'm sure that the dancing Israelis story is just made up by someone that also hates Israel...

I wonder, does Obama have the Huevo's to do it?spock

Hiya Alle  ...I think the real question is how much longer can we tolerate Obama's diplomatic incompetence...It's that more than anything that increases Iran's nuclear threat to Israel...Iran's nuclear program is a WORLD problem!...Slowly but surely this administration has managed to eliminate any real need for them to consider meaningful nuclear negotiations...Choosing no more sanctions in favor of trust and cooperation from Iran is laughable...What the hell is Obama basing this trust and cooperation on?...Thanks to his wimping out on enforcing red lines in Syria and the Ukraine, he's pretty much destroyed our threat of military action too...In 2012 Congress passed the United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act and we all know what that says...It says the US will ensure that Israel maintains its qualitative military edge over its regional threats...Obama signed that law, he IS OBLIGATED to support it https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/112/s2165/text ...Israel is our "proven" ally, not Iran...Transferring to Israel GBU 57's and the B-52's needed to deliver them is a no brainer...The biggest argument for not doing so is that it would impede nuclear negotiations with Iran...I'm thinking, "What negotiations!"...As long as Obama is at the helm Iran will continue its nuclear enrichment program, but if Israel has the capability to effectively destroy that program Iran will back down because they know damn well that Israel also has the cajones needed to do the deed...In this case, I believe those cajones would be called survival instinct...

tom86 you have it backwards, israel is our bltch, our pitbull....believe me they are ready to unleash their devastating power on all of the middle east.....if not for the US holding a tight reign on them it probably wouldn't even take 6 days to pummel the opposition into submission......of course the US would have to publically condemn these actions and that wouldn't satisfy the true goal of prolonging the constant state of war that we have at the present.........everybody is making the big bucks on the status-quo

whoa spoken like someone who truly understands nothing... good job, spread some more lies and CT BS...

Personally feel Israel has the power to do just what they said they have a lot of nukes ... but they really don't want that they just want the land they want and Pakistan to leave them the hell alone and Iran get off their backs with threats of nukes ... which we have Pakistan as a allies also... and we have other allies their to ...that does not want to get into more war ... but I feel Israel has to give a little to compromise with their surroundings ... and hopefully will be a good treaty with Iran... which that would make Isreal a little calmer ...

Hello alleoops.
Thanks for introducing this topic.

This will be my first post in this forum. Please let me know if I've strayed.
It's time to give Israel the means to take out Iranian nukes

a) What nukes?
I thought the whole point about the multi-lateral talks with Iran; talks that include the U.S., China, Russia, France, etc., was to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.

b) The ostensible liberal (but in any case Democrat) Obama favors these talks.
One of the most conservative Republicans running for president in 2016, a "tea party" Republican, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is in favor of these talks. This is what Senator Paul had to say on this specific issue:
"Diplomacy is better than war. We should give diplomacy a chance." Senator Rand Paul (R-KY)

Seems to me most of those that oppose Obama on this are the hyper-partisan Republicans that oppose Obama on nearly everything.
“The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY)

http://www.mediaite.com/online/white-house-appears-to-want-to-shame-the-shameless-mitch-mcconnell-and-company/

What adult American doesn't recognize how obstructionist Republicans are toward our twice elected president?

How was that for a first post?

Iran used to be a stronger ally than Israel until we imposed a dictator on them that robbed them blind and tried to destroy their Muslim principles in favor of western capitalism and ideologies.

Seems to be our "method of peace and democracy" in the world. Making more enemies than friends in favor of our biggest exports......weapons and the wars they fuel for corporate profits
