tom86 you have it backwards, israel is our bltch, our pitbull....believe me they are ready to unleash their devastating power on all of the middle east.....if not for the US holding a tight reign on them it probably wouldn't even take 6 days to pummel the opposition into submission......of course the US would have to publically condemn these actions and that wouldn't satisfy the true goal of prolonging the constant state of war that we have at the present.........everybody is making the big bucks on the status-quo

whoa spoken like someone who truly understands nothing... good job, spread some more lies and CT BS...

you're entitled to your own opinion on any subj per se, and if it happens to be a 180 degree opposite of mine then, by all means state that opinion and let the reader make their own decision on the merits of each opinion....

what you are NOT entitled to do, is disparage my opinion as more lies and CT BS...

why not just give your opinion, and leave me out of it ?

what "constant state of war are you referring to? the fact Israel gets attacked on every border? the fact the Hamas is constantly lobbing RPG's in the Israelis civilian neighborhoods? is it your opinion that Israel should just allow this and never fight back? if it is, your just being a hater, and just plain wrong... my opinion is that your spreading lies and CT BS... you said your "opinion", and i said mine... is your opinion is more important than mine? you seem to think so...

in your above statement, can you tell me what "devastating" power Israel has? and who has Israel attacked without being attacked first?
how are they our "*****" or "pitbull" when they have done NOTHING in the mideast to help the US out? they only attack when attacked first, and then they respond 10 fold, the way it should be... and why haven't they used this "devastating" power in the past? they get attacked on all borders, but yet it seems they never used this devastation on any country... can you explain that?

Argo's photo

you answer your own question about devastating power, with the remark of their ability to retaliate 10 fold upon their enemies...that is devasting power, i don't care how you look at it....if you don't want to believe israel is the middle east military powerhouse, i certainly can't convince you.... so i'll give it up....

Right because Israel could never take out Iran with any or all of the hundreds of nuclear warheads they currently have.

you're not thinking straight, and neither are your Buddies in here!
Besides,Nukes aren't particularly suited to take out Bunkers, you need special Munitions for those!slaphead

That suggestion would have kept Iran 'humbled' but Obama's middle muslim name explains why he will never allow Israel to have such buster. There is more to this Obama than meet the eyes.

Neutralize Iran and there will be peace in that region. If not, there will be no peace.

That is hands down one of the dumbest statements I've ever read in the political forums. Which, believe me is saying a lot!!!

Iran isn't even the real problem, it is the Saudis.

laugh Glad you liked it. So you prefer Iran over the Saudis? Who are the Saudis sending missiles and rockets to?

Well they sent two airplanes into the World Trade Center, does that count? The Al Qaeda money trail leads back to the Saudis, so I'm thinking they have indirectly launched a few missiles at your beloved Israel.

This notion that they are an ally is BS and a limited view because they allow us to "rent" some space for military bases.

In actuality I'd say Jordan is a much better ally than Saudi Arabia and one of the few Arab states that seems to have its head on straight.

Well to be honest I don't think Israel really 'needs' anyones help. They bought Dolphin class subs from the Germans which are capable of launching missiles.

They can likely turn Iran into a parking lot should the need arise. Although their nuke inventory does not include megaton city killers, a couple well placed tactical nukes and maybe an EMP airburst sends Iran back to the 4th century in about 15-20 minutes. The only issue is the s*itstorm of Muslims who will want to kill Jews on sight for the next, oh I dunno, 500 years?

Israel has to face retaliation at that point from a number of sides. The usual suspects like Hezbollah, Hamas, PLO all would go apes*it, but bigger actors like Syria may feel compelled to crack open a bunker of WMD's such as VX nerve agent and let some SCUD missiles do their worst. Syria has done much in the way of weapons effects research over the last 20 years looking to enhance the effects of current ordnance, as well as creating longer lasting and more virulent chemical/biological agents.

The Bekka Valley in Lebanon was rumoured to be the hiding place of Saddam's WMD stockpiles back around the 2003 war. The Israelis supposedly bombed it and sealed the caves it was stored in. If true, would someone risk exposure to active chemical and biological weapons in order to excavate the area and try to salvage something from the location?

Should that happen and Israel believes its going to be overrun it has long held over the head of Arab states Operation Samson. This is the last gasp of the Israeli state as it gives the order to empty its nuclear weapons storage depots in order to destroy the 50 largest cities in the Arab world.

That's some scary end of world s*it.

the general public doesn't really know what kind of nukes the Israelis have, if any... IMO, they only have small tactical nukes, like the bunker busters we gave them... small yield, low radiation, but lots of power...

I see your point, and could make the same argument, and as they are also a member of NATO, they are definitely an ally.

Well for some perspective the Hiroshima bomb was about 18kt(kilotons)in size. In the U.S. cruise missile inventory you have the W80 warhead which can yield up to 150 kt in size, or almost 10 times the power.

We're not even in the range of ICBM's or megaton weapons here. Essentially these are 'kiddie' sized nukes. Hiroshima bomb killed about 100,000 people instantly and incinerated just about everything to a radius of about 4.5 miles. So, multiply that by 10, and you get an idea of what just one 'tactical' nuke can do.

Iran? Likely not as big a problem as it thinks it is. Like any gunfight however, the fastest one usually wins. Once Iran gets a nuke, and I think Obama won't really do anything to stop them, Israel better not find out. They will then be in a position of using pre-emptive force.

Think of it this way. Someone you have had a conflict with says "If I ever get a gun, I will come to your house and kill you." Now you find out that he's taken a machinist course, and has bought the materials to make a gun. You call the cops. They search his house. No gun. The metal could be used for something else, so the cops can't do anything. So are you going to wait around until he builds the gun? You going to sneak into his house and plant cameras to watch him? Will you try to get his friends to try and talk him out of it? When is your life going to be in enough danger to justify you using deadly force? That's the situation these 'negotiations' have put Israel in.

i think Israel would know the minute Iran has a nuke, the mossad is pretty good at what they do...

Jordan is a better ally than the Saudi's . But no other country in that area is pushing to build a nuke except Iran. If Iran gets their hands on a nuke, they will use it. No doubt, Iran is the immediate threat in that region.

Pakistan has had them for years, along with a running hot war with India, but has never used them. There are quite a few countries that have nukes and have never used them, with one (count them one) notable exception.

Your argument is theory at best. In truth, your wheels may be spinning but there is no tread on them, so you aren't getting any traction.

Ran across a news bit the other day saying that the Saudi's are seeking a nuke from Pakistan. Wonder why?
That region is a powder keg waiting to happen. Iran will push Israel into a corner. Not a question of if, but when.

Again I say it is ignorant to judge a book by its cover or a nation by its leaders.

I trust the govt of Israel about as much as I trust our own, and the House of Saud?! The Bush's and our bowing puppet Obozo can have them, or vice versa, but hopefully before Arabic becomes a second language in the USA!

All this "Israel First" BS is what got us where we are!

Did anyone hear the speech ole fear mongerer, Israel Firster, and presidential hopeful, Lindsey Graham gave at the GOP conference? slaphead

Vote for me and I'll make the Bush admin look like Mr Rogers Neighborhood! According to Graham we should all check under our beds for terrorists! McShame taught, or bought, him well!

Google it!
