This gay thing or i'm gay therefore i am. Well i'm not so sure i rather being me as an individual living outside the gay scene. Is it cool to be gay? From my experience its not its just a sexual orientation, i am a friendly guy not because i'm gay but because i believe one should always be nice to another.

It's really cool to be one. Gee I have no clue... Why not find someone that is gay and walk up and ask them.. I know being straight isn't always cool.. Can be hot, cold, wet, dry happy or sad. the list goes on and on |

It's really cool to be one. It is cool to be who you are. Weather that is gay, straight, or still trying to figure it out. What is not cool is trying to be something just because you think it sounds interesting, different, counter culture, or happens to be getting a lot of press. I am straight but had a great deal of interaction with the gay community and one thing I have seen is it is far from what it is represented in the media and a lot more complicated as a part of society than most get. But yes it is finally cool to be gay and hopefully it will get to be where people can just BE gay; however they define it; with out always having to make a proclamation out of it. One thing I have learned if you are busy proclaiming something you are probably not just being it. |

I really get yo point and i also feel that the way we gay people are stereotyped is a major problem.. Like not all are feminine and groupies... So the media must and should give a fair eye's view
