Don't you hate it when somebody takes advantage of your good nature & basically taunts you, & you get tempted to getting a lil dirty from being messed about? Same thing with me. some individuals are messing with me in paying me after i worked my azz off & made their business boost simply coz i didnt want to be part of their pathetic business ethics anymore. they know me well enough to know i'm a lil crazy & can get physical so why they doing This? I'm maintaining my cool for now but it wont be for long. What would you do? I would get physical...

This has to do with Business. When clients mess you around for a payment Then I would get very serious about collection or drop them entirely. When someone gets a reputation for screwing over others in business it usually catches up with them and they end up out of business. Pays to check before you stick your neck out going out of your way for a new client. Someone that always wants that last pint of blood out of a business associate is someone to avoid because you will (1) Never collect (2) Waste more energy than it would take to get a better client, and (3) Never ruin your business reputation by resorting to violence because that will hurt you more than them. I would follow this advice Romeo, besides if you get physical and you hurt someone permanently it could cost you everything including your freedom. Just put the word out that these people are scumbags and sue them and it will kill them in the wallet. |

This has to do with Business. When clients mess you around for a payment My business is a little different, my customers are big companies. They are supposed to pay in net 45, but usually string it out to 60-70 days. But they pay. One of my brothers owns a small company and he runs it 50% at contract signing.- 25% when the project is 1/2 done - 25% on completion. and a contract to that effect. Any change order is written and signed, including cost.. nothing verbal. This to keep his exposure low. If they don't pay the 25% at completion they get one reminder ( no collection agency as they take a large cut). Still don't pay, then he takes then to small claims court. 75% pay before the court date. The other 25% when the judge orders them to. Don't lower yourself to their level. Use the law. And always have everything on paper.. and signed. even the smallest work order change. But of course he then spreads the word that they are F-ing deadbeats.. that's his satisfaction.. Lol |
