Thrown rocks can be lethal projectiles.

You can endanger a life, or kill someone
with a thrown rock.

hahah nice pic... its getting scary though that theyre talking about using deadly force against people throwing rocks and looting, whatever happened to a cop having to fear for their life to use deadly force. these guys are in full riot gear and theyre afraid for their life from someone throwing rocks at them? theyre setting us up for something, i dont know what but it feels like we're being set up. if these protesters had any balls, they would start using deadly force against the police. the police are the ones that started this by them killing people day after day after day, and it gets ruled justified when everyone knows it wasnt justified.

Why don't you start that 'deadly force against the police' rolling?
You've stated your case, your support. You've provided an alternative.
When will YOU start, partner?

Or, maybe you'd consider facing an angry, insensible mob bent only on mayhem with a helmet and shield (I've done that; trained folks to do it, too. I'll train you, if you'd like.) and feel the fear, not knowing just what's in front of you? Who's going to take the single step too far? Who's going to connect with that 'golden BB', the lucky rock that nails you in the temple and ends YOUR dreams, makes YOUR kids orphans and YOUR wife a widow?

There are always two sides, walk awhile in a cop's shoes before you paint them all with the tarnished brush a few provide.

Let me know when you're ready to start training, 'k?

I chose my location here in Florida for many reasons. It's a big gulf/ocean with lots of room to hide as long as any electronics are turned off.

Thousands of sailboats to choose from and a dealership across the street....already on trailers!

Bug-out bags are handy, my stashes are between here and the boat dock. Give me 30 minutes and I'm a sailor at sea!

Now....about that island you mentioned Iam......

To become an expert at violence
you have to become experienced in it.

I promise you, a properly aimed rock,
will kill or severely injure any of the
"jack booted thugs" in that picture.

A slingshot does a great job with a ball bearing as a projectile....but a decent rock works too bigsmile

This is true.

David slew Goliath ...

A simple sling of ancient design,
(Instructions available on Google)
and a well placed rock, will kill any foe.

Its becoming more obvious,
just how little you know of impact,
trauma, and violence.

ok then why dont you enlighten me as to how a rock would kill one of those guys, cant hit em in the head, they have helmets. cant hit em in the chest/torso too much padding for a rock to hurt them. a direct shot to the nuts might do some damage... if these guys were throwing bricks or cinder blocks maybe, but i doubt a simple average rock is going to do anything. just the gov looking for legitimate reasons to start using deadly force on its own citizens, and make it looks like its our own fault. we are being conditioned to accept that its ok for the gov. to kill its own citizens when necessary, but who gets to decide what constitutes necessary?

Those helmets, will deflect light impact.
Those helmets, will only keep the brain
inside the helmet, in the event of major impact .
Such as a large ballbearing from a slingshot.
Or a highspeed rock from a sling.
Or a grapefruit sized rock, thrown by hand.

Those helmets will not prevent brain injury/death
in circumstances such as those.

If Im wearing body armor and someone shoots me, and the body armor stops the round, does that absolve the shooter of using deadly force? Are you "stoned"?

A riot protection helmet is a type of helmet designed for law enforcement and military use to protect its wearer's head, face and eyes from handheld melee weapons, and thrown projectiles such as bricks, as may be met in riot control. Many modern riot squad helmets are reinforced with materials that will protect the wearer from dangerous substances such as acids or industrial chemicals.

so theyre designed to hold up against someone throwing a brick at your head, but a simple rock will serverely hurt/kill them?

The rioters were throwing bricks! And setting fires!

Come on!

The rioters didn't do this for protest. They are thugs wanting to riot. Many people tried to stop them (not just the cops)

How does looting and destroying a community help anything? They are doing this to innocent people. I doubt any of those thugs joined in to clean up. They left that to the innocent community.

i agree with you the rioters r f'ing retards for burning down businesses and cars, if their anger is towards the police they shouldnt be f'ing with other peoples stuff. i agree with you there, my point is though they should be arrested, not fired upon. unarmed people throwing rocks at armed people with full riot gear should not constitute deadly force.

You again, are neglecting to account for impact related
trauma.

The helmet is designed for... Yadda yadda yadda.
The helmet may withstand impact.
But, the wee little brain inside the helmet, is still
susceptible to injury.

Don't believe me?
I'll provide you with an authentic riot helmet.
Go to your neighbour, and have them smack you
on your riot helmet protected noggin, with a brick,
or an equal sized rock .

Let me know how that works out for you.
