Loretta Lynch Just became AG around the same time that the state of Maryland has been declared a state of Emergency?

I can't think of a better way to ask this question

Loretta Lynch was just sworn in today as AG. Gov. declares state of emergency; activates National Guard because of the riots. There are closings; the Orioles game had to be cancelled.

I guess it's just me.

Hmmm, still don't get it. New head of the Justice Dept. and a bunch of 'thugs' decide to use a funeral to further an agenda - or maybe get some street cred and some free booze and goodies.

Former Baltimore resident and I just don't see the connection between'em.
