11.6 # Morel Mushroom, found along a creek bank in Missouri, last week. Yes, indeed - it is that time of year when people without good thought to the ever budding poison oak & ivy will forego their allergies and tromp off into those damp wooded areas in search of those lovely 'MOREL MUSHROOMS'

Oh, is it that time of year? Goodie, cuz I know a handsome feller that will take me hunting for these and knows a secret sweet spot. Kewl date, huh?

we used to have these growing on side of hill going down by river..I grew up hunting for mushrooms, wild blueberres.. there was a patch of wild blackberries down road and kids and I would go pick them and make jam just had to be careful not to run into any bears
