Did you ever meet someone in your life from the opposite sex that was a carbon copy of your traits and personality? Would you pass that up or explore the idea of basically dating yourself?

I would have to pass, dating myself (female version) sounds like it would be great at first but quickly get boring.

If I wanted to sit in a room with "me",
I can do that alone. |

It's like when people know exactly what you're going to say before you say it. It makes conversation really dull.

I have,it's hit and miss for me,sometimes you jell quite well, and sometimes,it causes you to not get along, like for example,we both stubborn or hot tampered, may not go so well, and we also love some the same things, may work!

It's like when people know exactly what you're going to say before you say it. It makes conversation really dull. For me after 10 years of marriage it was like we hardly talked about anything other than the day to day. I wish it had been for me like it was for you. |

I don't know if I could handle that much hotness and sweetness. Too intimidating...

Not that I know of. Would you pass that up or explore the idea of basically dating yourself?
What do you mean? Like "If you were handed a free dating opportunity without having to put forth any effort whatsoever beyond showing up and dating, it's more of a social experiment where scientists have measured someone as being a carbon copy of yourself and presented her like a barbie doll in a hermetically sealed box and asked 'would you like to date your female self?'" Then I'd say "sure! Why not?" If you mean "if you came across a profile on a dating site and you could magically tell they were a carbon copy of your traits and personality would you pursue them for a date?" Then I'd say maybe. Depends on if I am attracted to them. Depends on how we interact. There's no guarantee that communication is compatible or values or lifestyle or goals are the same. If you mean "if you were somehow aware of someone that is a carbon copy of your traits and personality would you search for them to the exclusion of potential immediate opportunities, or put forth much effort in finding them so you could date them?" Then I'd say no. |

The closest I've come to finding someone like that for me, has been finding a lesbian version of myself. That was great as a friendship.
I think finding someone with my same temperament could be wonderful. It's much more exciting and encouraging to find a like-minded person, than just a cute face who's hard to get along with. |

If I wanted to sit in a room with "me", I can do that alone. I agree with what you're saying, but when it comes to intimacy, I know what I like and I'm damn good at it, so a female version of me wouldn't be such a bad idea. |
