The 56-43 vote installs Lynch, 55, now U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, as the first black woman in the nation's top law enforcement post. She will replace Eric Holder, a perennial lightning rod for conservatives who was once held in contempt of Congress.

The AG's office went from dumb to dumber. I understand that you've got an agenda, so you're not interested in facts, but Loretta Lynch is actually one of the smartest people in government today. Like our hate her, but she's no dummy.

Thank you Al, but the point I was refuting was not whether Lynch is right or wrong, but that she was being called "dumber." Try to keep up, will ya?
