If a child learns language before the age of 4,
they absorb it easily.

After the age of 4, everyone has to go through
the learning process.

I found Russian and Japanese to be the most difficult.
(This may be due to their alphabets.)
I think Spanish, German and Italian are the easiest.

Sometimes I have to re read your language 4 times to understand just what the heck you wrote and re translate it into hooked on phonics.

For actually verbal languages,I'd say it depends,I don't know if Chinese and Japanese language/s are basically the same or completely different or whatever,Chinese would be easier for Japanese to learn,and visa versa,as oppose like maybe,Russian,German,English ECT,just my opinion,I also agree with soufie,but I mean like from adult!

And it also depends on the person to a certain degree,some people learn faster than some!!
