FEMA - Has executive power to take over any store they wish. * so does the UN* CTRE NorthWest9 NewOne6 Drugs Report Meanwhile, back in this universe ... Yes, it's true. Executive orders can take any land or business and or people to work for labor without pay. Perhaps you can cite evidence supporting your claim. No, it's hours and hours of reading. YOU have to read the whole thing. Didn't moe cite it already? You go find all the individual lines that I have read it in. I don't feel like it tonight, but I can assure you that I had spent weeks researching this last year and the year before. Gawd, I know I've cited it here like a year ago too. TOO bad there IS NOT a THREAD search function to QUERY here! Then you should be able to cite at least one reference, right? Moe did. |

The verbatim EO....

Here are explanations of the aforementioned Executive Order that contradict what is being claimed in this thread.
Outside The Beltway: "No, It's Not Martial Law, It's Preparedness" Hot Air: ""National Defense Resources Preparedness" executive order: Power grab or mere update?" Ace of Spades HQ: "Executive Order: "National Defense Resources Preparedness"" In short, that particular executive order signed by President Obama is nothing more than an update of previous executive orders signed by previous presidents (both Democrat and Republican) that are based on existing federal law. |

Sorry I can't get into all the conspiracy stuff but if the local Walmart they built is any indication of the quality of construction of their stores it is no wonder they are having "plumbing' problems. They are constructed sloppily, with the cheapest materials, fixtures, and the worst display and traffic patterns possible. The stores are open less than a five years look so shabby you would think they have been around for generations. I would never be inside a store in any kind of inclement weather and wonder how or if I could get out if there were a fire or other disaster because the exits are clearly blocked or locked.
And the management is even worse. If they cleaned up their stores and got a little more selective about how they let customers conduct themselves, including destroying or shop lifting more merchandise than they buy, and showing out like they have totally lost their minds not only would they have more in store customers but significantly higher profits. I would say about 40% of the merchandise I buy from them is in poor condition one way or another. Often the cheapest poorest version of whatever they can find. Selections stink. I also fear for my personal safety in and around the entrances to the stores which has become a mecca for low life's from impoverished aggressive panhandling homeless to out right criminals openly selling black market goods, drugs, and pimping. What they seem to fail to grasp is there are bad customers that run off the good paying customers. When their own help does not want to shop the store it tells you something. Many of them look like they could use a good "scrubbing" too with shabby Walmart shirts and dirty pants and shoes. Many are poorly groomed and have serious body odor; maybe related to split shifting and working multiple positions where they get sweaty/dirty stocking and cleaning but still must interact closely with customers whom many seem to fear. Some for good reason. I seriously doubt they have any facility to make themselves presentable or take breaks because I see exhausted employees setting in other businesses waiting for transportation or waiting in hot cars to return to the second half of their shift rather than waste the minimal pay commuting twice. Truly sad because at one time the stores were clean, friendly, and had a nice hometown feel where people liked to work and considered it a career move where hard work was appreciated and rewarded. A portable career in a growing company that seems to have stagnated and does minimal training in retail skills. |

Dued, don't you have a survival kit and plan?

Well, we'll see wont we lol. If those closed Walmarts are taken over as detention camps, instead of just being updated, Ill be the first one here to say, "Damn, yall were right". But...dont hold your breath I'll do better than that. If the one in Tulsa is turned into something other than a Walmart, then I'll take a photo of it and post the photo on this site. |

Dued, don't you have a survival kit and plan? LOL if you don't you better not depend on WalMart to provide it. They don't have enough generators to even keep their refrigerators running for 24 hours and if they were not continuously stocking they would be out of inventory in 72 hours. As is if you need a quantity of anything you better go in 30 days in advance and order it. |

Ugh.. guys... I did not make this thread for me or anyone else to be right or wrong. I made the title as a question & my initial post has questions. I really want to know, what everyone thinks, what WE can find. What possible reasons (I listed at least 5), or excuses could there be? If we are told the truth.
Besides, no matter if there is construction inside or outside or we have photos of plumbers.... it wouldn't prove anything! One way or another WE have had underground tunnels, bunkers, even jails & churches... in Human history. Things are weird. Many things are weird. Many things could not be accomplished if all the public or media knew... * I'm NOT making any excuse for any government or religious powers* But I do want laws followed & for people to be prepared. Resuming or transforming into, "AThink Tank ". |

Not to mention the employee's cant do anything but smile and wave if someone's stealing because they don't want to be sued. |

Other than "Imminent Domain" laws where the state or federal govt can take your land or property "for the greater good" only giving you what "they" feel is fair market value (Another BAD law!) then a state of emergency must exist, martial law must be implemented, or a declaration of war must be declared. At that point govt can seize any business, transportation, media stations or whatever they wish. It has actually "been on the books" since WWII under the "War Powers Act", but with the events of 9/11 and implementation of the Patriot Act the POTUS gave himself the power to claim "War Powers" even if there is only "suspicion" they are needed. Basically, tell the public there "could be" a threat and impose away! When Oblowme reauthorized the Patriot Act on New Years day 2011 from Hawaii, he had added the "indefinite detention clause" to included US citizens (I'm sure you all remember that argument between the POTUS and Congress) and declared the "Homeland" a war zone making those powers official. It was Reps and Dems alike who betrayed us, and Sen Lindsey Graham couldn't have been happier as he took to the Senate floor for his famous tirade about the ability to take citizen rights away! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6PM4ZKoQks |

whatever....retail centers have always come and gone based on the longer term market. Wlamart's secretiveness is reflective of their usual treatment of their work force. Why anyone is even remotely surprised would be my question.
I agree w/ devildog that .com sales are bound to be a factor although I am not one to .com. I still go out and shop, personally. (side note: it's Martial Law, not Marshall....Marshall is someone's name) |
