Apparantly, calling in to work late because you need a couple extra hours to goof off is NOT an acceptable excuse. My boss told me to get up earlier if I wanna goof off!....LOL Who sets their alarm to wake up early and goof off? |

Another fun thing...Whenever anyone speaks to me or asks me a direct question...I reply with, "Never mind all that. What are you getting me for my birthday?"....
Example: My boss: Barbara, why are you late for work? Me: Never mind all that. What are you getting me for my birthday? Ha. |

im a smart azz and so is my partner. so we have fun at work. just not while the clients are there.
your topic reminded me of when I used to work at the retirement home. after the residents would go to sleep my partner and I would have wheel chair races up and down the corridor. |

I set my alarm to get up at the last possible second. I set my clock 10 minutes ahead so If I wake up earlier, I have do the math in my head to figure out how much longer I can lay there...

I was a CNA for a few years and we used to do the same thing. We'd create a road-race course in the dining room with the tables and chairs and tear it up. Hadn't thought about that in decades! Thanks for reminding me.
