Topic: Aging gracefully

I am 47 and my daughter asked me yesterday what it was like to be 'old'. I laughed and said ask me when I am 70. But it seriously got me thinking... What is old?

I am 47...some days I feel old...some I look old... Sometimes people think my 11 year old is my grandson

I think Old is a state of mind...I have met people in their 90's that were as young as I am mentally. I have met some people in their 30's that seemed so old and tired. To me, growing old is something I hope I never have to do til after let's say 85. I have a wish to sky dive at 110 that way if the chute doesn't open I won't care as much... I am almost 1/2 to that age

People are shocked when I tell them my age and that I have a 23 year old son.......I also refuse to act my age....life is too short not to enjoy every minute of it.
