Had to laugh. Reading the last page or three of this caused an old Tonic song to pop into my head -- guitars, right down to the scrapes of calloused fingers sliding up and down the strings, lyrics and the breaths in between, the whole kit and caboodle -- was like a live performance...

i will say it when i feel i love him

I'd be inclined to say so when I do love him, but ... it can be awkward. What if he/she doesn't feel the same? Or doesn't know yet? Saying "I love you" can be too soon. And you can still say it without expecting anything in return, but there is always a chance you scare someone off.

So knowing you love him/her is one thing, but then how, when, where do you actually say it? You just blurt it out? Or plan it, like for instance after a romantic dinner, or after sex or ...??

And also: CAN you even say it without expecting him/her to say "I love you too!"?
I've been there. So I know I can. But it's still bloody nice if the other feels the same way!

Yes, timing is everything. If you don't feel that the love is mutual, then I guess I would try to wait till I felt my love would be reciprocated. It is hard for me to do, but many do fear people who fall in love quickly, but then, what is too quickly. I pretty much know if I can love someone within a month if I know enough about them. But in all honesty, there is that time when love grabs you and I usually say what's on my heart the moment I feel it and when I know it's real. That can be good or bad, but at least it's out there to be either received or refused.

I just say it when I feel it. I wear my heart on my sleeve. Not afraid to show my emotions. I'm childlike in many ways. I don't overthink things. Men appreciate my honesty. And they say they love me in return.
