The reason our political system is so screwed up is we allow it be.
A sane nation would demand congressional term limits and money limits on political donations. |

If we have an issue that we bring to their attention, that is lobbying. from wiki: Lobbying (also lobby) is the act of attempting to influence decisions made by officials in the government, most often legislators or members of regulatory agencies. Lobbying is done by many types of people, associations and organized groups, including individuals in the private sector, corporations, fellow legislators or government officials, or advocacy groups (interest groups). Lobbyists may be among a legislator's constituencies, meaning a voter or block of voters within his or her electoral district, or not; they may engage in lobbying as a business, or not. Professional lobbyists are people whose business is trying to influence legislation on behalf of a group or individual who hires them. Individuals and nonprofit organizations can also lobby as an act of volunteering or as a small part of their normal job (for instance, a CEO meeting with a representative about a project important to his/her company, or an activist meeting with his/her legislator in an unpaid capacity). Governments often define and regulate organized group lobbying that has become influential. lobbying is paying congress to change laws in a group, corp, or persons interest, not the American interest... |

Cruz....his wife is a CFR member, and we already tried a soft spoken, foreign born, orator and look what that's brought us To the best of my knowledge, there has never been a foreign-born POTUS. President Obama was born in the state of Hawaii despite what some out-of-touch people say. Don't know what foreign born means? Anywhere outside the Cont US is foreign, and yes, that includes Hawaii although it is a state of the union. The other part of that argument is one most can't argue because of controversy due to the many other lies we have heard from this admin/POTUS, and the fact that some "proof" is only what people believe because of manipulation, deception, cover-up, or what the media says it is..... of which none are very reassuring. Like the money and power of govt can't buy a decently forged document and a few witnesses to attest its authenticity when the CIA, witness protection, and many other alphabet agencies do it every day.... and they seem legit too..... and work! |

But it's a little late to squeeze juice from a raisin so it's nothing more than distraction at this point. America has suffered over 6 yrs under a failed presidency, let's not make the same mistake again please!? Before you biotch, vote! A good question might be..... Will they re-instate voting rights for non-violent drug felons (which they are considering) before or after the election? |

Separate Economy and State in the same manner you have Separation of Church and State! Like that's working? You must remember that when govt gets involved things become broken and non-working, then more committees need to be formed to fix it, and a govt agency formed to oversee it, another to audit/facilitate it, and of course, more IRS agents to regulate and tax it Look at Obozocare for example. Our new "cost affective/affordable" healthcare system |

Don't know what foreign born means? Anywhere outside the Cont US is foreign, and yes, that includes Hawaii although it is a state of the union. Meanwhile, back in this universe, the word "foreign" refers to anything from outside of one's nation, and the state of Hawaii is within the USA. Granted, that fact doesn't prevent birthers from trying to move the goal posts by offering a false definition of "foreign". |
