I'm half way through .. getting slightly bored to be honest, otherwise I wouldn't be here now, lol (movie still running in the background).

I so NOT find this dude attractive, didn't when I saw pictures, don't now I've seen him in the movie. Can't stop but think how great it would've been if they had Charlie Hunnam do this. That would have been steaming hot! This guy can't act to save his life. Like her, her acting is perfect.

Also didn't like his first explanation of what D/s entails.
Her - "What do I get out of it?"
He - "Me!"

Not seen the ending yet, that supposedly is bad. Not read the books either, so I don't know just yet.

Finished it ... Disappointed... the way they present and explain BDSM. To ppl who don't know the first thing about it, it'll seem like abuse. I had hoped the movie would bring some good insight in the realms of BDSM, but I think this does more harm than good :/
Apart from that, pretty boring. I've seen more arousing stuff in 'normal' movies and series.

The only good thing about it is Dakota Johnson's acting.

in the book he seems well like a bit of a nut to be honest, and she nags constantly. im looking forward to seeing how they portray her. to be honest he is not my idea of good looking either. if this film is as bad as they say I shall be really disappointed.

Depends on what you know about the subject, I think.
One thing I really didn't like, was to see ropes directly around her ankles and wrists. And sure it can be done if you know what you're doing, but if ppl think it's a kinky idea and get a nylon rope out the garage and do that ... pffff... There's already been accidents due to ppl imitating things. I guess that's why they cannot really show too much either. Tricky thing, you can't just start whacking ppl when you don't know what the heck you're doing.
But yeah.. I wonder if they dare turn it up a notch for the second movie.
Don't expect too much from this one. You could almost watch it with your kids, lol

Don't bother its very boring film saw it for free a few weeks ago on movietube like my adult films not to be almost PG rating lol.
