Kevin and Christina Denis were left horrified when they saw a creepy face smirking behind them in a treasured snap of their wedding day photo... |

That's one I took in 2008, cold night, steam coming off water from a warm artesian bore. He appears to be looking straight at where my vehicle was parked. Pareidolia maybe? |

This is not a ghost picture. It is a picture of the abandoned "asylum" my friend and I checked out last night that is supposedly haunted. |

Geezz Louise, you visit places like that? :O
I'm always too sensitive, pick up chit, take it home too if I'm lucky. I steer clear from haunted places if I can help it. The graffiti alone is enough to scare me away -or give me a severe headache. You feel anything? |

The building you are looking at was not creepy. It just looks that way because it's night time. The surrounding desert we were in was beautiful and peaceful and you could easily have put out a sleeping bag and tent to sleep under the stars.
That being said, the building in the back was a whole different story. We walked through it and there was a very claustrophobic energy. My friend said she felt like her throat was closing up and I felt like the walls were closing in on me. I felt....trapped. The feeling subsided as soon as we exited back into the desert. We did not see or hear anything ghost like. According to the stories we have heard, it's an old insane asylum. I do not believe this based on the layout of the two buildings. It is possible it was a boarding house for a dozen or so moderately mentally ill but I'm just speculating. Local people say it's haunted and since its 10 minutes away we decided to check it out. Interesting experiment but I wouldn't go again. Mainly because I got to bed late and I don't like that. |

The majority of these pictures are what is called, 'Forced Perspective 2D Pictures.' Something either in the foreground or background of the snap-shot coincidently looks weird. (Very Common) ***************************************************************************************************************************************** This picture is from the stablization feature being on and somebody moved very quickly out of the expossure. |

This is a very old cropped picture with a double exposure. In the old days of photography the stutter had to be open for a very long time to burn the image into the negative-plate. Often the photographers would have fun by asking the person to resume standing perfectly still then move very quickly to another position and resume standing there. In this picture it was simply a matter of cutting along the pond's edge and replacing that portion of the image to replace the double exposure with a single exposure above the water-line. |
