My home-girl's supposed to be going to meet her boyfriend's mom for the first time. She lives in the Bahamas, we're in GA. She's told me the mom has 4 boys and works in a office with several men so she doesn't care for purfume. She wants to get her something, like under $25. Something nice, saying thank you for letting me in your home, but of course nothing to intimate or expensive, or girly... Any suggestions?

don;t take anything. u don;t want it to look like she is buttering them up. unless they have been courting for a while and she knows the mom. then and onlythen. otherwise just be herself and things will go fine.
when she is leaving, after getting a feel of everyone, she can buy a gift of thanks. she will always be remembered. |
