Why do we consume our energy with petty arguments about what makes a man a 'real' man and what is a 'real' woman when we have a new war in Yemen and people dying in Nigeria for the right to vote?

I am flabbergasted by the petty arguments being made in the general forums with such overtly stereotyped gender definitions. There are more important topics which could create harmony instead of divisions.

I agree.

We should create topics which create harmony. We are all responsible for the content in the forums. I try to post interesting, constructive topics and they get a positive response. I wish more members would be in this mindset instead of going out of their way to create strife and division amongst us.

Some people just thrive on creating drama out of their own insecurities and doubt. And that doesn't just refer to a couple of females on here, there's a male also. And I don't know why but I've fallen into the abyss commenting. I am always thinking there's got to be something to move these people forward but I'm wrong. Nothing changes and everything stays the same.

I agree! If you noticed, some have commented on how disgusted they are with the pettiness, and some have even left.

I'm surprised how some posts are left to instigate and provoke, and some are deleted or edited, without anyone the wiser.

I kinda like the variety...some serious, some silly, some obnoxious, some creative...and even some of the bickering..lmao!!!...I tend to shy away from most of the serious stuff...don't waste my mental space on things that probably won't change...but I do get a kick out of the point/counterpoint in religious and political topics...but for me...I prefer the silly over the serious...I escape here..if I want serious I turn off this and deal with my daily drama..so for me the nonsense is worth my time...
