Do people join dating sites to find love, a lasting relationship, or for other reasons?
Are people honest about their REAL intentions?

iam here to find a good woman to beat me down tell i have forgotten iam even a man.,,JK i often wonder why some woman are on here...

i think, like in most cases, we go on intending to do one thing, and ending up doing something else...lol... things have a way of not going exactly as we hope for...

I didn't join Mingle as a dating site, but as an opportunity to meet people. If something more came of it... Well, that would be great. If not, that's OK too. I will have met a few people, maybe learned a few things and broadened my experiences. Win, win!

I've never liked the results I've gotten when i was searching for a relationship. It never worked. I've always found better relationships, romantic or otherwise, by simply being open to meeting new people. No agenda, no plan.

When I found Mingle2. I had joined in hopes of meeting new people, and perhaps a special lady to enjoy spending time with.

Well I've made some friends on here. Found the forums and enjoy "sometimes" the banter that takes place. I haven't found that special lady, and after being here for quite some time. I've slowly realized why I would be considered, "undateable".

I have remained on Mingle2, because I have made friends on here and communicate through here. I don't have Facebook, or any other social media to keep in contact.

Perhaps I'm trying to remain hopeful about meeting a woman for a date or more. Just doesn't seem likely as there are too many variables against me.

I'm pretty sure this is directed at me. I've been nothing but honest, and it's your phacetious tone WonderWoman48, that's erked me.

I joined here for a few reasons: Because of my disability, job loss, and low income I don't get out much, lol. I like people, as a general rule, and there are people on here! Sometimes I get bored, or lonely. Finding friends would be great, so would finding someone to hang out with or date, and there's always the possibility that I could really "click" with someone. And I like all the purty pictures and silliness!
