My friend I do not exactly agree with you. I am just about an year old here and in fact i have made many good friends, actually met some and will be meeting some more. You can set that for your area, region/ distance, male or female or both... Or everyone.
Whatever you like. You can always make changes to it.

You may want to try to join in on forum conversation... So people get to know you & your personality.

There are many reasons why women don't respond. Some don't want to hurt your feelings by telling you they are not interested, so they ignore you. Maybe some of them have not been active on the site.
