Codes are here:http://mingle2.com/topic/199646

In simple terms, you place the URL (link) of the image
between Image tags thusly:

[*IMG]pic link goes here[*/IMG] (WITHOUT the asterisks)

Most people use the FREE http://www.photobucket.com
to host their pictures. They also supply forum codes.

So, you would get the code from them, place it within the
IMAGE tags and you are good to go :-)

Hello Dear Soufie,

Opened a photobucket account today to link up a photo to the forums

For instance the following link

http://s304.photobucket.com/user/gjshankar/media/3_zpslgaqgv1r.gif.html?sort=3&o=0

is the picture in my account

If it is just the pic link as suggested
[*IMG]pic link goes here[*/IMG]

then it would be

Please,
what have i missed?

thanks.

Sometime the instructions are not clear because the HTML language doesn't show up the same in the description.

Just go to any post that has a photo and click "quote". You can then see the img brackets and backslash used by the poster. Go to Google Image webpage and practice. If you hover your mouse cursor over the pictures you will see the size of the image. If you try to post something that is bigger than standard screen size (about 600 pixels) it will expand the forum screen and piss people off. stay smaller than the screen.

If the image address used pages of data to describe, chances are it won't post properly anyway, so just right click on it and hit the undo button. A good img address should used one or two lines, max.
