Topic: Money or love? Which do you want MOST? | |
---|---|
What I find interesting about those who speak of money (whether they place it first, second or on par with love) is that they believe the current paradigm that we must use currency in order to obtain the physical needs to survive. This is the mentality that causes so much grief and suffering in our world not the least of which is all the wars for oil and resources. Only if we choose to accept this mindset is there a necessity for money.
I ask that we all consider that we can survive without money if we were able to choose selflessness over greed. |

I choose love. There were times when I had enough of everything and also times when I didnt have enough to buy a donut (when I was a refugee and we lost everything during the war), got through a lot of good and bad so from my experience human being can overcome anything. But with love everything is much easier. Money for me is just an instrument to survive, nothing else. Love, given or received - its something that makes me happy and gives meaning to my life.

Hmmm, No1, depends on the girl Ive had a relationship with a poor student for more than three years and I can count on fingers of one hand times when we went out somewhere - we just couldnt afford it. But so what? We cared for each other and that was the important thing.

Really can't enjoy life recreationally or live without money. I've been homeless before. In that case friends were like a rock and love went out the window. Can't live without money.

But if he wouldn't make any effort to change it - then yes, you would be right. But it wouldn't be a question of money anymore but his personality. That's a big difference. |

"lol you can't buy love ... that's not real love if you try to be buying it lol" So true: have more now than at any point in my life and can not find true love for all of it. That may bring the scammers out though |
