How can someone just by looking at you or talking to you for a few seconds believe you are involved in a relationship or married?
The response... There's no way you're single  Share your stories, has this ever happened to you? |

A lot of it has to do with body language. People tell more about themselves with body language than they do with words.

What about the single by choice?
What about 'too good to be true, there's no way you are single, someone would have snapped you up by now'? Like what, I'm a bloody hotdog? Geeez..... I just say thankyou, for now I know that you are not what I require, politely, but truthfully. |

First instincts often speak the truth…if you are wrong then you are wrong.
If I sense someone is fibbin' I would question them...liars usually gets found out in time. Really, they are not fooling anyone but themselves. |

This has happened to me too, HeartSoul.
The ones I love are those that finally decided to accept that you ARE single, then follow up by saying something like: "I did'nt believe you cause most men would marry you just to tap that every night!" Nice.... At that point I just thank them for proving my point that the dating...and gene pool...are a little limited!!

Having been single the majority of my life, I have found that the married ladies are the most likely to say what Jess said above. I actually had a married lady tell me one day at church...."You are so happy all the time, you really need to get married." It's like duhhhh..what's wrong with being happy all the time?

Mindset rules what is drawn...I suspect....I have met so many decent and great men....as I have women...as to dating, up until last week, everyone was 625 000 miles away...
