So i guess nobody has tried this workout yet... i got pretty shredded up doing only calisthenics and resistance band workouts. im 5'7 was 172 lbs. after a couple months got down to 155 lbs with good definition and strength. i did use a pre workout - BSN N.O. xplode and protein BSN syntha-6 peanut butter cookie (delicious BTW) i also take CLA, Korean ginseng, creatine HCL, multivitamins, pure BCAA power unflavored, pure acetyl l-carnitine, a-akg pills. seems like alot of supplements and i probably didnt need most of them but i figured they couldnt hurt. they definitely helped i always have tons of energy and feel great all the time. i wasnt really trying to get big, i just wanted to put on a little bit of muscle while leaning out and it worked for me. i also did intermittent fasting when i dropped the weight. before i lost the weight i forgot how good it feels to be in shape. feel 10x better once i got my body back in shape. Geez those are a lot of supplements to be putting in your body ...it doesn't seem safe |

Geez those are a lot of supplements to be putting in your body ...it doesn't seem safe the majority of them are natural substances that are either in the body already, or can be found in most foods we eat. but unless your diet is 100% on the money you likely wont get the amounts needed for desired effect(CLA, BCAA, ginseng, carnitine, creatine) those all can be found in food but i dont always have the time to prepare perfect meals, thats why i supplement them. i recently switched my protein to MRM 100% all natural whey isolate because the BSN syntha 6 has some additives im not too fond of. and i switched my preworkout to MET-RX nuclear x because it only has about 5 ingredients in it and its not a "proprietary blend" so they tell you exactly whats in it and how much. one of the main ingredients is agmatine sulfate which gives an amazing pump, and it also has tons of health benefits associated with it. im very careful about what i take and research it before i buy it. if i had the slightest idea it wasnt safe i wouldnt take it. but since i have been taking them i feel great, havent felt any adverse effects at all. |

Interesting stuff...i'm not on anything, no supplements ect. would you suggest any for explosive workouts & recovery? Without getting that bloated look creatine gives creatine HCL i take 1 pill after workouts with protein.. creatine HCL doesnt give you the bloated effect that monohydrate does. its more bioavailable and doesnt cause you to retain water. and theres no loading phase like there is for monohydrate, and you dont have to cycle it if you dont want to. if your a bigger guy you would probably take 2 pills i think its under 175 lbs - 1 pill 175 lbs+ 2 pills. works great for me. |

running for 10 min? might as well go home 10 min early. For cardio benefit (not to mention training) you must elevate your heart rate to target for at least 15 minutes not including cool down and the time it takes to get to target (ex long distance runner here)

People associate arthritis with old age. There are hundreds of kinds of arthritis. I was born with it. I have pain in my ankles, knees and hips every day. In recent years has moved to my shoulders, elbows and wrists. I have been examined by orthopedic doctors from around the world and My case and surgeries are in medical books. I don't rely on a therapist I pay. I go on one day at a time and exercise with what I can do.

So i guess nobody has tried this workout yet... people have each their own thing My workout consisted of about 12-15 hrs of martial arts a week, 3-5 hrs of yoga 2-3 miles of swimming a week and on alternate days 2-3 miles run. I increased the run to 4-5 mi when I stopped actively training in tae kwon do. weight lifting is the worst thing one can do as far as speed and flexibility to the long muscles. My emphasis was always speed, long muscular flexibility, stamina and spinal & joint flexibility. I did do some nautilus now and then but mostly just to test my strength. The best conditioning is anything aerobic (vs anaerobic) so you and I are literally on opposite sides of the planet philosophically. oh well :) I haven't done a yoga in about a month due to the flu I have been on total rest, and I can feel my long muscles stiffen as I sit here...lol can't wait to get back at it. may even do some more kick boxing. i ll be kick boxin' granny :) |

What strengthens the body is anaerobic excercise as compared to aerobic.
Both should be done equally & you're a woman you obviously cant follow what i follow, but you could with very light weight...weight Training won't kill you its good for you in everyway |
