Thanks & to me intense means when you can feel every muscle in your body with mind - muscle coordination & response & strength & speed + endurance + reaction

I have the same mind set as you on this I think. Steve Reeves is my ideal goal, and a realistic one too I reckon. He did full body workouts three times a week without taking steroids. And it was all basic training, no machines. Arnold is the best but he's a bad role model for those that want to do it the right way. He trained twice a day, everyday. Doing split routines. But he also took steroids.
I'm a long way off, but I'm making progress. The hardest thing is trying to slim my waist. I don't enjoy doing vacuums or sit ups. |

Steve Reeves has been an inspiration to many even to Arnold & will always be an icon. Arnold had been juicing since he was 15. Back in those days people would spend 5 or 6 hours at the gym & trained crazy compared to standards of today. My goal is not to look like a bodybuilder coz that look is not appealing to me... Im aiming for the fitness model look ....by the way fitness models are also all on juice & many have been caught out.... As for slimming the waist my workout will work that too |

Thanks for posting Romeo! I am a full time working 50 yr old mom of 3 kids slowly transforming myself for minor health reasons before they become major. No time, space, $ or energy for any kind of intense workouts. Though I have found that change of diet, walking, stretching and mild workouts have giving me great success....every day I try different exercises and stretches, even some yoga and stick with them a bit then seek more to keep it interesting and target different problem areas & muscles

That's quite a workout, most importantly,it's one that works for YOU,and just like to add, that maybe some of us have to gradually work up to that level, and what are your take on the nutritional part of it? How important are complete proteins to you?And do you think that some proteins are better than some for some people? And also complex carbs, for example, some would make some people fat, while some lose weight,or do you think the nutritional thing may be a bit overrated?

Nutrition is very important & Yes you have to work up to that level. You will get a lot of people advising you what to eat & what not to eat & in the end most will be confused. i keep it quite simple. Chicken, milk & Brown rice. My goal is to be lean yet muscular & at the same time to be attractive & sexy.....kind of like a fitness model look. I do not use any supplements & i am not against them but i prefer real food |

So i guess nobody has tried this workout yet... i got pretty shredded up doing only calisthenics and resistance band workouts. im 5'7 was 172 lbs. after a couple months got down to 155 lbs with good definition and strength. i did use a pre workout - BSN N.O. xplode and protein BSN syntha-6 peanut butter cookie (delicious BTW) i also take CLA, Korean ginseng, creatine HCL, multivitamins, pure BCAA power unflavored, pure acetyl l-carnitine, a-akg pills. seems like alot of supplements and i probably didnt need most of them but i figured they couldnt hurt. they definitely helped i always have tons of energy and feel great all the time. i wasnt really trying to get big, i just wanted to put on a little bit of muscle while leaning out and it worked for me. i also did intermittent fasting when i dropped the weight. before i lost the weight i forgot how good it feels to be in shape. feel 10x better once i got my body back in shape. |
