I've frequented a BDSM 'toy & clothes' shop more often than a 'regular' one. Found that shop by accident, was great! The proprietor made a lot of things himself, and he got all kind of weird requests. Not toys per say, but leather outfits. Once saw a guy who'd ordered a full Roman outfit, lol. He made me this rubber necklace:  The first time I went in there, I felt rather awkward. But the guy was so nice! He helped me find a great outfit and both him and me were very pleased when I got out of the changing room so I could look in the full size mirror. (He was gay, so no sexual interest there, which helped). When I was standing there, turning round, this guy and his missus walked by and the guy stood still, drooling. Missus wasn't happy and dragged him away. It was so funny, never forget that moment! And cause the vibe was so good with the proprietor, I didn't even feel awkward about that, we both had a good laugh. That kind of thing would probably never happen in a regular shop, but in a BDSM shop, no one really cares. Guess that's why I love such ambiances. Far more relaxed, no one gets **** over sexual things. I feel more awkward in regular shops, depending on what it is I'm buying. There was a time when I bought lots and lots of lube. I needed that for a muscle training device, had to put it on the pads. I did feel awkward about that at some point

Maybe I should've kept it... my physio sometimes uses electricity, and pads on the body, to relax cramped muscles. But me and electricity ... doesn't compute... |

Not at all, The people that work in those places are very sexually open and so am I. One time at whistler mountain, on a day trip (wife & three kids) I ran in to the shop as we planed and the hot sales lady give me alot of 'inside information'I loved how open she was. most enjoyable and memorable moment.Don't ask me about the skiing.
