Topic: I Only Date Certain Professionals | |
---|---|
I'm only interested in people who have overcome financial hardship through hard work, dedication, and perseverance. I don't mind if they used government funding or any means that never hurt anyone to accomplish this. However, he must be handsome with a good sense of humor. Is this reasonable enough or too picky? I was a professional race Tec...does that fit? Oh and what I was doing paid very well.... Ah but im not handsome though ... My thoughts anyways...... I'm a hands on guy...... |

I just prefer one who made himself as opposed to one who got it from his parents I get that ^^ When I read the original post, I thought this lady must be out of her mind, but I think I'm starting to understand what she's saying. She can always correct me if I'm wrong. I think what she's looking for is a self-made gentleman. While I don't personally need a rich man, I can appreciate a man who became successful in his career/profession because he strived for his success rather than a man who had everything handed to him because he came from money. I hope a woman who makes a bold statement like OP just did should ensure she will measure up to the standard she Expects a man to live up to. Disclaimer: No lady, I am not defending you either. yeah, I can see where it would kind of make sense.." looking for a self made man who strived for success".. nothing wrong with that.. but then she said she would also accept someone who hit the lottery. So that whole " self made" statement.. went right out the window. its about $$$$$$$$$$$$$ |

No, I just see Debbie's point, what's wrong with winning the lottery? It could be they have all those qualities and then they won the lottery because they were lucky. Actually, I would never buy a lottery ticket, because I think it's dumb to waste money, so I'm not sure I would go for the lottery winner, and plus he could be changed by winning money.. I hope it's clear now! This is being picky because I haven't even met anyone yet..
