My ex wife was big when I met her. She was awesome. Nice smile and personality. She started beating herself up over gaining weight. I said to her...... Change! She was the WORLD to me...... No matter the weight. Weight has nothing to do with it.

I was always very supportive. She was going to Zumba classes at the time.......... I was on the couch with a hip injury for 9+ mths.

Kicked me while I was down. Small part of the story. Msg me if you want more.

nice use of a cliffhanger.^^...

. so if your partner gains a lot of weight... that is! they change from who they used to be physically..to someone who is now overweight.. is that any worse than.. becoming an alcoholic.. a drug addict...

Were you concerned with what they looked like or for the inner qualities they possessed! Reverse the situation! What if you no longer looked the same to them? You've put on weight! Does that change who you are at the innermost level? I guess it all depends on whether you care about the quality of the person you fell in love with. If you cared about the genuine person behind the outer package, then it would make it obvious you are not only interested in having eye candy partners! You'll never establish any kind of real relationship if what you're looking for constant sex appeal! What happens when women no longer find you attractive? How would you like to be dumped because you no longer fit the sexy profile? There is always someone sexier around the corner, but can you trust them with you as you are? How shallow do you choose to be? Are you in a relationship because of their looks or for the person within? Only you can answer that for yourself! To me, character is of a much higher value than the illusion of good looks! JMHO !

There's always E.D. to be worried about, not vain issues. Physical functions.

. what happens when your partner..
starts to put on, a little too much weight... now you have been supportive.. offer to jog with them or go to the gym.... participate in a diet with them... but they just don't seem interested.. now it has gotten to the point.. Were you! just do not find them physically attractive anymore..
.... would it be acceptable to leave them !.. End the relationship..
... because they like their donuts a little too much...lol....

I knew my girl 4 years before we got married. She was the one trying to rush me in.
Hey, you have to get to know someone before you do the knot thing.

There must be a reason why some donuts have holes and some have fillings....why are they called dough-nuts, anyways?

To be honest,I'll try everything in the book to get her to work on it,this includes tough love when all else fails,I guess I would take it as a challenge to get her to lose the weight,a little,no biggie, but i mean like letting herself go,this is why sometimes its good to remind them when you notice a little gain,(and also yourself),I don't mean in a "putting them down" kinda way,but more of a concern and constructive kinda way, cause lets not forget, it can lead to serious health issues, but it would take a whoooole lot for me to leave them just for that!!
