Is everyone afraid to show their true face and how they speak?

my attitude is that, if they don't cam .... and consonantly give excuses then they are probably lying about something.
With one person he always did this, I even just asked to send me a photo with him holding up a sign, but he didn't even do this ... it did leave me kinda heart broken, but he was not worth the effort in the end, and so when he stopped talking to me suddenly (again) I gave up.
But it does leave you worrying if they were even 'real'

Too easy right? The forum has picked up on this topic before........ It's a losing battle for them. Still don't understand why they try.


Open for Skype no if anyone wants to oblige.

One of the biggest reasons is that Skype is used by scammers.

If you're on Skype you can't report inappropriate behaviour and you can't report them to the monitoring team.

By the way it gives them access to your e mail address too, think of the implications of that particular situation.

Every time I agree to skype with someone they try to turn to sex. As soon as that happens, it's click. I like to message a bit before agreeing to video chat just so I get a better feel for the guy.

I am going with they have something to hide.
Speaking from experience..Bad experience.

I don't always go on skype, but when I do you go "Can you hear me?" 95% of the time and "Hi, how are you?" 5% of the time.

Probably referring to the certain sites that allow people to have their own video shows where one can throw cash at them with their credit cards.

If someone doesn't want to Skype some will say probably a scammer..afraid to show their true faces...and if someone would say yes some will say probably want an easy money. ..holy crap.lol. .

No one's ever asked me to Skype, but it would depend, as it does require one to give out personal information.

Much for the same reason I don't trust anyone that asks me to "yahoo message," I would feel leery of Skype. If someone isn't willing to use the message system built into the core of the dating site to bring me to a point of being comfortable with them, then I automatically assume that they are up to no good.

I guess what I'm saying is trust has to be built, and if someone isn't willing to understand that I'm not ready to go that far yet, then they weren't for me.

It's just all pure BS. I can read it all ;)
