I just wanted to get a shout out about the upcoming Southern California Renaissance Pleasure Faire coming up this April 4th, running every weekend through May 17th at the Santa Fe Damn Recreation Area in Irwindale, California.
You should also be able to find links to Faires closer to home, if you don't want to make the trip.

If you've been to one of the Renaissance Faires in your state or region before, I don't have to tell you how much fun they can be (and how much booze you can buy there!). If you've never been to a Renaissance Faire before, you should definitely visit some year and find out for yourself what an exciting and entertaining experience is waiting for you. If you haven't visited a Faire before, be sure to mention that to the gentlefolk who take your tickets at the front gate, and you will be honored as a "Faire Virgin"!
