It's simple.
The brain is the physical gray and white matter. The mind is the functioning aspect. Therefore, one can have a brain, yet be a mindless twit. I know. |

The 'mind' is our consciousness our awareness. For example, I believe we are the only species on earth that is aware of the fact we shall die at sometime in the future. The 'brain' is the organ that produces our 'mind'. Damage to the 'brain' can result in damage to our 'mind', loss of memory or loss of awareness for example, so in there is a connection between the two. This is the way I see the 'brain' and the 'mind', this is just my opinion.

We only have one brain but some of us have quite a few minds
|
|
|
|
And sometimes we speak them all

The brain+The mind=Here and now.

My brain works in different ways than most. Just a different upbringing. Everyone's mind works differently.

Brain is physical.. mind is mental.. finally, someone knows... |

Yes, the Brain is the physical tangible matter in our skull.
The Mind is the collective intellect that is marshaled into its respective order. But, it's the Id or what I prefer to call the Soul that marshals that info into its pertinent places. One can lose their Mind but still have their Spirit. |

The mind is intangible...and the brain is tangible. Some peoples minds are tangible... It just takes a long time to do so! |

One is easier to understand than the other...

The brain is a series of brains.., so begins Dr. Steve Peters in his presentations in Ted Talks. Found it fascinating. The link is below

Mind - the element of a person that enables them to be aware of the world and their experiences, to think, and to feel; the faculty of consciousness and thought
Brain - an organ of soft nervous tissue contained in the skull of vertebrates, functioning as the coordinating center of sensation and intellectual and nervous activity. There ya go! Google it! Take a few hits of acid or drink a bunch of shroom tea chase it with a forty and it all changes for you. |
